Nightmare´s
cattery is located in Porvoo. My family includes my husband Mika, our daugter
Jenna and our cats Molly and Namu.
Cats have been our hobby a bit over ten years now including also a bit of
breeding. There have been only two litters so far.
Our first persian cat ”Misu” started our hobby in 1991.
We bought our persian female ”Nessu”, CH Väinämöinen Leinikki, in autumn 1993 partisipating also in
exhibions with her.
Then we started of thinking to breed our own cat.
When Nessu was seasoning she was like a nightmare. She was whining very loud
trought the night keeping master and mistress
awake – so the story of ”Nightmare´s persians” got started.
Nightmare´s breeding name was registered in FIFE 1994 and the first litter was
born in January 1995.
The cats in our litters have been very sweet and lovely and our target also in
the future is to breed
kind and lovely family members with the beautiful persian type.
The cats which we use for breeding are PKD-DNA, FIV, FELv and microsporum canis negativ.
